Wow. I agree with a lot of what’s said here. Fame and the written word do both mean less now. I especially what Ferguson has to say about there being no sense of apprenticeship and the fact that people who have success so young…how can they have anything to say? Give me work and talent, years and luck.We have such a instant gratification driven culture. The microwave generation. Not that I’m not a part of it, or immune to it…it just is unrealistic. Reality and what it means are so twisted.
